Maria del Mar Morote Llabrés has joined IdISBa to take up a position as a research support technician (Professional Group B) for the project CNS2023-145055, “New therapeutic strategies for untreated breast tumors”.

Her responsibilities will include:

• Conducting in vitro assays with ASOs, evaluating different sequences, concentrations, and delivery systems to optimize their effectiveness.
• Implementing and managing plasmid-based reporter systems to measure alternative splicing modulation using fluorescent indicators.
• Performing combinatorial assays with ASOs and low doses of doxorubicin, analyzing pharmacodynamic interactions using isobolograms.
• Carrying out HLA expression assays in ASO-treated cells using flow cytometry and processing the data with FACSdiva.
• Analyzing, interpreting, and reporting experimental results, identifying the most effective ASO combinations and documenting findings for project reports.
