Internal Whistleblowing System under Law 2/2023

The Internal Information System of the Fundació Institut d'Investigació Sanitària Illes Balears (Law 2/2023) is for reporting actions or omissions within the Fundació Institut d'Investigació Sanitària Illes Balears that may constitute a serious or very serious criminal or administrative offense, or, where applicable, infringements of European Union law.

The protection afforded by Law 2/2023 applies to any individual who has obtained information in a work or professional context. This includes all personnel working for the Fundació Institut d'Investigació Sanitària Illes Balears, regardless of whether their relationship is employment, professional, or service-based, and whether the connection is permanent or temporary, paid or unpaid, and whether or not the employment relationship exists or has existed. It also includes individuals who, through contact with these personnel due to their work, may become aware of the conduct or event being reported.
