SPECIFIC COMMISSIONS

Training Commission

IdISBa’s Training Commission aims to coordinate the training activities that the Institute offers.

 

The members of the Training Commission are:

  • Antònia Barceló Bennàssar, chairman of the commission and IdISBa’s Scientific Director.
  • Carlos Enrique Herrero, IdISBa’s Managing Director.
  • Diego Marzese, member in representation of IdISBa’s researchers and co-leader of the Cancer Cell Biology research group.
  • Margarita Frontera Borrueco, member in representation of the technical staff from the scientific and technical platforms of the Institute and coordinator of the Infrastructure and Labs Department.
  • Jaume Arbona Vidal, chairman of IdISBa’s Works Council and manager of the Clinical Trials and Private Projects Department.
  • Maria Escobar Salom, member responsible for the training of IdISBa’s predoctoral researchers and researcher from the Multidisciplinary Sepsis Group.
  • Daniel H. Lopez, member responsible for the training for IdISBa’s research areas and research manager of the Institute.
  • Antonia Obrador de Hevia, member responsible for the training at Son Espases University Hospital and leader of Advanced Therapies and Biomarkers in Clinical Oncology research group.
  • Alfonso Leiva Rus, member responsible for the training and Primary Healthcare and researcher from the Balearic Islands Research Group in Preventive Activities and Promotion and in Cancer (GRAPP-caIB).
  • Joana M. Ramis Morey, member responsible for the training at the University of the Balearic Islands and leader of the Cell Therapy and Tissue Engineering research group (TERCIT).
  • Fiorella Sarubbo, member responsible for the training at Son Llàtzer University Hospital and researcher from the Neurophysiology, Behavioral Studies and Biomarkers research group.
  • Javier Calvo Benito, member responsible for the training at the Blood and Tissue Bank Foundation of the Balearic Islands and researcher from the Cell Therapy and Tissue Engineering research group (TERCIT).
  • Nuria Cases Porcel, secretary of the commission and head of IdISBa’s Training Department.

 

Innovation Commission

IdISBa’s Innovation Commission is its advisory body in terms of developing the Institute’s functions regarding innovation.

 

The members of the Innovation Commission are:

Quality Commission

IdISBa’s Quality Commission is the Institute’s body responsible for the implementation of a quality management system.

Gender Equality Commission

The Gender Equality Commission is IdISBa’s main principal body responsible for the promotion and coordination of gender equality policies at the institution.

To fulfill the objectives required by the HR Excellence in Research award, IdISBa has defined two different commissions: the HRS4R Steering Committee and the HRS4R Working Group.

Ethics Committee for Animal Experimentation

IdISBa’s Ethics Committee for Animal Experimentation (CEEA-IdISBa) is the Institute’s body responsible for complying with Royal Decree 53/2013. It is responsible for the emission of mandatory reports with regard to research protocols involving the use of animals in research.

 

The members of the CEEA-IdISBa are:

  • Ignasi Sanpera, head of the Pediatric Traumatology Service from the Son Espases University Hospital and IdISBa’s researcher specialized in clinical research, as the chairman of the committee.
  • Anna Tomàs, veterinarian and responsible for the animal welfare at the IdISBa, as the secretary of the committee.
  • Carlos Juan Nicolau, IdISBa’s researcher with the C accreditation for the use of animals in research and specialized in basic research.
  • Guillem Frontera, IdISBa’s researcher specialized in methodological analyses

 

Nursing Research Committee

IdISBa’s Nursing Research Committee plays an advisory role in the matters of nursing research that the scientific director of the Institute needs to address and develop.  

 

The members of the Nursing Research Committee are:
