The Health Research Institute of the Balearic Islands (IDISBA) is collaborating in the organization of the TERMIS‑EU 2026 international congress (Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine International Society – European Chapter), one of the leading scientific meetings in the fields of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, which will be held in Palma de Mallorca from 21 to 24 April 2026.

The congress will take place at the Palma Convention Centre (Palau de Congressos de Palma) and will bring together researchers, clinical professionals, and industry representatives from around the world to share the latest scientific and technological advances in this highly innovative field.

Under the theme “Accelerating multidisciplinary innovation to close the gap in clinical translation”, TERMIS‑EU 2026 will address a broad range of topics related to tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, promoting a multidisciplinary approach and the transfer of knowledge from basic research to clinical application.

IDISBA takes part in this international scientific event as a host institution, together with other leading organizations within the Spanish scientific system, thereby contributing to positioning the Balearic Islands as a prominent hub for biomedical research and health innovation at the European level.

In addition to its scientific programme, the congress will include plenary sessions, specialized symposia, workshops, networking activities, and dedicated spaces for early‑career researchers, fostering synergies and the development of new international collaborations.
