IdISBa's Internal Funding Projects

2020 Call

 

The IdISBa has announced funding opportunities for the development of health research projects of quality that are to be developed in the framework of cooperation between two or more research groups from the Institute.

 

This program aims to contribute to the promotion of the health and well-being of the citizens as well as to develop preventive, diagnostic, rehabilitative, and palliative aspects of the disease by reinforcing and increasing the competitiveness of R&D&I in health in the Balearic Islands. Moreover, this programs also pursues the design of new techniques, products, instruments, etc. that will improve the health of the population by protecting their intellectual property and marketing.

 

The goal with these contracts is:

 

  • To promote the presentation of coordinated projects that allow the creation of contexts of scientific cooperation, accelerating the transfer of results to the clinical practice, in which the interaction between the different research teams must be demonstrated; these being basic biomedical research (disease-oriented), clinical biomedical research (patient-oriented), epidemiological research as well as teams from the health service.
  • To fund a line of research with a stable quality by avoiding the research groups being fragmented so they can achieve the size that allows them to have critical mass.
  • To promote the scientific activity from lines of research led by emerging researchers.  
  • To encourage the participation of the research staff that performs healthcare activities in the Health Service of the Balearic Islands.

 

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Read the program terms.
  2. Download and complete the documentation.
  3. The project request form file will need to be printed, signed and returned scanned.
  4. Fill in the web form and attach the request and memory form files.
  5. Attach the CVAs in a single file sort of .zip .rar or similar format.
  6. Optionally, attach the support images to the project in a single file sort of .zip .rar or similar format.
