Claudia Maria Garcia Coll joins IdISBa as National Competitive Projects Management Technician

The Health Research Institute of the Balearic Islands (IdISBa) has appointed Claudia Maria Garcia Coll as National Competitive Projects Management Technician, a position within Professional Group C (code L03130012). 

Her appointment strengthens the institute's support services for research teams in the identification, preparation, management, and monitoring of projects funded through national competitive funding calls.

Her responsibilities include assisting researchers in the preparation and submission of research proposals, ensuring compliance with eligibility requirements, preparing budgets, and managing the necessary documentation. She will also support the acceptance and negotiation processes of awarded grants and act as a liaison with funding agencies.

In addition, she will be responsible for identifying and disseminating funding opportunities from public and private organisations at regional, national, and international levels, helping researchers gain access to new research funding opportunities.

Her duties will also include the financial and economic monitoring of projects, the preparation of periodic and final reports, the management of project-related documentation, the handling of administrative issues arising during project implementation, and the preparation of documentation required for audits and project closure processes.

She will also participate in workshops, information sessions, and meetings focused on competitive funding opportunities, contributing to the strengthening of research funding support services at the institute.

With this new appointment, IdISBa continues to strengthen its research support structure, facilitating access to competitive funding and contributing to the scientific excellence of the institution.
