This recognition is part of the Silver Siurell Awards, presented by the newspaper Última Hora. Year after year, these awards strengthen their prestige by honouring individuals and organisations distinguished by their commitment and contribution to Balearic society.

The Health Research Institute of the Balearic Islands (IdISBa) congratulates researcher Dora Romaguera on being awarded the Silver Siurell, a distinction that recognises her outstanding scientific career and her contribution to biomedical knowledge from the Balearic Islands.

This award recognises her research excellence, scientific leadership and ability to translate knowledge into benefits with a direct impact on public health. Her work has helped place the Balearic Islands on the international map of biomedical research and has contributed to strengthening IdISBa as a leading centre for health research.

At IdISBa, we are proud of this well-deserved recognition and extend our warmest congratulations to Dora Romaguera for a career that continues to drive scientific excellence and innovation for the benefit of society.
