New hire: Vanesa Cedillo Quesada, new researcher in the GTERi group

The Health Research Institute of the Balearic Islands (IdISBa) welcomes Vanesa Cedillo Quesada, who joins the Innovation in Infection Immunopathogenesis Research Group (GTERi) as a researcher within the framework of project PID2024-159100OA-I00. This project focuses on monitoring the risk of immunothrombosis in sepsis through biomarkers and biosensors.

The researcher will carry out her work at the GTERi laboratory in Building S of Son Espases University Hospital (HUSE), under the supervision of Antonio Clemente. This appointment will strengthen the group's research activity and contribute to achieving the scientific objectives established within this competitive research project.

Multidisciplinary training at the service of biomedical research

Vanesa Cedillo Quesada has specialized training in experimental and biomedical sciences. She is a Higher Technician in Clinical and Biomedical Laboratory Sciences, holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, and is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Biomedical Engineering. Her academic background provides a multidisciplinary perspective for the development of health research projects.
