New staff member at IdISBa: Tomàs Jordà Siquier joins the Neurobiology research group as a Postdoctoral Researcher

IdISBa welcomes Tomàs Jordà Siquier, who joins the Institute as a Postdoctoral Researcher within the framework of projects PMPER24/00021 and PROSALUT 2023-9.

This full-time contract will run until 30 April 2027 and will be based at the Neurobiology Laboratory of the Research Unit at Son Espases University Hospital (floor -1), under the supervision of Cristòfol Vives Bauzà.

Holding a PhD in his field of expertise, Tomàs Jordà Siquier joins the Neurobiology research group, where he will contribute to projects focused on the biological mechanisms involved in neurological and neurodegenerative diseases.

Strengthening neurobiology research

The incorporation of Tomàs Jordà Siquier reinforces the scientific activity of the Neurobiology group, which aims to advance the understanding of the molecular and cellular bases of various neurological disorders.

Through this appointment, IdISBa continues its commitment to attracting and consolidating research talent to address some of today's most important biomedical challenges.

This contract is funded by the Carlos III Health Institute through European funds from the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, under grant agreement PMPER24/00021, in accordance with the Resolution of the Carlos III Health Institute awarding grants for Rare Disease Research Projects under the 2024 Joint Missions Call of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, and is funded by the European Union - NextGenerationEU.
