New contract at IdISBa: Pilar Andreu Rodrigo continues her work within the EVISAP research group

IdISBa has renewed the contract of Pilar Andreu Rodrigo, who will continue her work within the EVISAP research group in the framework of the 21st Call for Health Research Projects 2024 / SYNERGIA Programme.

This contract, with a duration of 12 months, is linked to projects led by Ignacio Ricci Cabello, focused on health promotion and improving the quality of care in the primary care setting.

During this period, the researcher will continue her activity at the Primary Care Management of Mallorca, as a research support staff member with a master's-level profile and full-time dedication.

Contribution to mental health and patient safety projects

Her work will focus on supporting two strategic research lines of the EVISAP group:

  • Development and evaluation of a multifaceted school-based intervention aimed at protecting mental health and preventing suicidal behaviour in adolescents, through a randomized clinical trial involving students, families and teachers.
  • PREOS study, focused on the development, validation and implementation of tools to measure patient safety based on patient experiences and perceptions, with the aim of building the first Patient Safety Atlas in the Balearic Islands.

Main responsibilities

In this context, Pilar Andreu Rodrigo will carry out tasks related to public health and primary care research, including:

  • Recruitment and selection of study participants.
  • Data collection through questionnaires and psychological scales.
  • Conducting in-depth qualitative interviews.
  • Statistical and psychometric data analysis and interpretation of results.
  • Coordination and follow-up of research projects.

Strengthening research in health promotion

The continuation of Pilar Andreu Rodrigo strengthens the activity of the EVISAP group, particularly in key areas such as adolescent mental health and patient safety. Her work will contribute to advancing innovative interventions and generating knowledge with direct application to clinical practice and public health policies.

This contract is funded by the sponsorship received from Fundación Mutua Madrileña for the development of the project under the 21st Call for Health Research Projects 2024 and through SYN26/06 of the Intramural Synergia Programme funded by IdISBa, co-funded at 60% by the FEDER Programme 2021-2027 of the Balearic Islands.
